Statement
"The Bloomfield Main Street Program
will work to preserve and revitalize the commercial district through
business improvement, while maintaining and promoting the
architectural, cultural, and economic heritage of the community."
What is Bloomfield Main Street?
Bloomfield Main Street is a volunteer based organization
whose purpose is to encourage economic development through
revitalization of the downtown based on the "Four Point
Approach". Bloomfield Main Street is composed
of five committees of volunteers, a board of directors and a full-time,
paid program manager. These individuals develop, implement and
monitor the progress of goals and objectives of the Main Street Program.
What
does Bloomfield
Main Street do?
Assists in enhancing the physical appearance of the
downtown community. Main Street also sponsors special events and
promotions such as retail promotions, Red
Bud Tree Sale, Farmers'
Market, City-Wide Garage Sale, Fall Harvest
Festival,
Trick-or-Treat Night, and many Holiday Promotions.
