Tell us a little bit of history about your business.
Hometown Radio Group began with the founding of KMEM Radio in Memphis, Missouri, on March 29, 1982 by Mr. Sam Berkowitz. The station was later purchased by the Keith Boyer family before being sold to the current owners, Mark and Karen McVey. KUDV Radio in Bloomfield joined the company on September 3, 2016. Both stations are programmed to be the news and information source for their local communities, hence the name “Hometown Radio”. KMEM is currently a Country Gold format (think Willie, Waylon & Johnny) while KUDV is a Superstar Country format (think early Garth Brooks to today).
