Tell us a little bit of history about your business
The Davis County Development Corporation evolved from the Greater Bloomfield Development Corporation in the early 1990’s when the rules differentiating for profit and not for profit economic development corporations changed. It became clear at that time that a non profit organization would be able to access more and better help from numerous economic development entities.
What are the services or products your business provides?
We work to create growth: population growth, income growth, tax base growth, business growth, housing growth, economic understanding growth, and community pride growth! In short we work to enhance the quality of life of Davis County residents!
What is your favorite thing about having a business in our community?
Our Executive Director gets live here!
What is one thing people may not know about you or your business?
We are a non profit agency with representation on and/or close ties to over a dozen local, state, federal and independent agencies associated with economic and community development. We help create wealth for Davis County!
